The present investigation was conducted at RVSKVV fruit research station, Entkhedi, Bhopal
(M.P.) for comparing the different concentrations of NAA and cane sugar for enhancing the
germination percentage of kagzi lime seeds, which were treated one month after extraction
from the fruits. It was found that the highest germination parentage at initial stage (15,20 and
25 day after sowing) was reported when the seeds were treated with higher concentration of
NAA(100PPM). Whereas at later stage (30 and 35 day after sowing ) the highert germination
percentage and height of seedlings were noted in 80 ppm NAA, which was found at par with 60
ppm as well as 100ppm NAA.
